Distant Aliyos by porch Minyonim

 

Since only the Ba’al Koreh stands on his porch, does he say the Brochos for all Aliyos by himself, or can he say them on behalf of people standing on other porches (B’Shlichus)? If so, what’s the preferred way?

The reply below assumes this is not the case or that the guidelines are not feasible in your case.

He should say the Brochos for all Aliyos by himself. There is no such thing as a Ba’al Koreh saying the Brachos on behalf of other people. As well as distant Aliyos (given from far) are not acceptable. See Badatz letter.
