Do we need to buy new towels & hand-towels, for Pesach or can we put them in washing machine load?
Wash them in the washing machine with hot water and soap, and inspect them afterwards to ensure that no chometz remains on them.

I have been using little towels that all look alike as napkins during the meal with my toddler, they get pretty dirty. I try using a towel for only milchig (or fleishig). Then after washing them, I don’t necessarily use it for milchig (or fleishig) again. I realized now I should get different colored towels, one color for milchig and one color for fleishig. My question is, can I designate the old towels now for milchig (or fleishig). And only buy 1 new type of towel. Or do I need to buy 2 new types and of towels.
It’s not necessary to buy new ones, after washing with detergent, you may use the towels for either the milchigs or the fleishigs. So, you can keep one type (after washing it) for either milchig or fleshing, and buy one more type.
Obviously, it’s best to use somewhat identifying colors if possible.
