Is there any kosher issues about duck eggs?

Which species of ducks are permissible?

Particularly, are Indian Runners kosher?  (I have seen some disagreement on the matter).

 

Answer:

As far as Indian Runners, the Machlokes is based on the understanding of the many Teshuvos on the matter including from the Maharsham, the כרתי ופלתי and more.

In practice, there is not enough certainty to permit eating them.
