Can I make Weetabix cereal by pouring hot water on it on Shabbos?

Do you mean taking regular Weetabix cereal and pouring water on it, so it becomes a mush?

In this case it is permitted under either of the following conditions:

  1. If you poured a bit of water (or any liquid such as milk) on it before Shabbos in a way that it mixed well, you may add water on Shabbos. You should make a shinui if mixing it on Shabbos.
  2. Alternatively, first crush it up into small pieces (even on Shabbos), then put the water (or any liquid such as milk) first and place the Weetabix afterwards. Ensure it’s a blilah rakah, pourable mixture.

P.S. If the water is hot, you must use a Kli Shlishi. Some are careful not to use even kli shlishi.
