We have 12 Kohanim and 2 Yisroelim. How should we go about the Aliyos of the Tochacha (Ki Savo)?

Question:

We have 12 Kohanim and 2 Yisroelim, 1 of the Yisroelim will be Laining and is a chiyuv (in the 12 months from the petira of his son). This minyan is happening Shabbos ki Savo, where the baal korei normally receives the aliya of shishi.

What would be the correct way to go about the Aliyos?

Answer:

1- kohen A
2- kohen A bimkom levi
3- yisroel A
4- kohen B
5- kohen C
6- yisroel B (baal koreh), without being called
7- kohen D
8- kohen E

P.S.: In this case the baal koreh receives the Tochachos, but he misses the inyan of receiving maftir. There is no Chiyuv for a person to get an Aliyah during the first year of his child’s passing רח״ל. Either way, the chiyuv will receive shishi.

The idea of splitting the kohanim with yisroel B for shishi is based on ערוה״ש קלה כח.

Follow-up Question:

In the end we have a 3rd yisroel, does it change anything?

Answer:

1- kohen A
2- kohen A bimkom levi
3- yisroel A
4- kohen B
5- yisroel B
6- yisroel C (baal koreh), without being called
7- kohen D
8- kohen E
