Is it OK to sleep on the same bed frame with two different mattresses while the wife is a Niddah?

 

Question:

A large wooden bed frame that can fit two mattresses on it. Assuming they can’t feel each other’s energy while lying down, and that there’s space in between the mattress that they can’t reach each other, and they put something in between the mattresses, is it OK for them to sleep on the same bed frame while the wife is a Niddah?

 

Answer:

It is prohibited.
