Buying Chometz after Pesach from a store who is opened on Shabbos?

Question:

There is a corner store in Israel, from what looks like a Jewish owner, but I noticed they are open on Shabbos. Is it possible that they didn’t sell their Chomtz for Pesach? Can I shop there?

Answer:

Smaller stores such as private bakeries where the owner cannot be trusted, one must estimate based on the store how long it will take for all of the old chometz to be sold out. After that one can buy from them.
