Is it allowed and appropriate to hold a chicken through gloves during Kaparos?
It’s permissible to use gloves, especially as the one doing the kaporos isn’t performing the actual mitzvah of shechita.
Still, it’s appropriate to demonstrate our love to the minhag yisrael by not wearing gloves.
