The Tumah of a Bed

 

Question:

I saw somewhere that R’ Avrohom Chaim No’eh writes that one who goes off a bed even if he did not actually sleep still has to wash his hands.

Does that mean that even if I sit on my bed with no intention to sleep right now, I must wash my hands? Does that mean that I can’t learn while sitting on my bed?

 

Answer:

Even according to this view, it would only apply to laying, not sitting.
