My elderly grandfather forgot that he had Yahtzeit and wants to know what he can do now as far as the Minhogim of the Yahrtzeit?
He should do the Minhogim any day after the Yahrtzeit – the sooner the better.
In addition, some are accustomed in such a case to commit oneself to say Kaddish both on the day of the Yahrtzeit and the day before from now on.
