Kilyaim: Mixed Seeds Sprouting in Chutz La’aretz

 

Question:

Just wanted to make sure that there is no problem growing different types of vegetable SPROUTS without separation or perhaps even mixed?

Automatic Sprouting (auto watering) Machine is described here and the different types of seeds used, are described on this page (some seed packages are individual, and some are already some mixture…)

 

 

Answer:

It is permissible to mix seeds (and not trees) in Chutz Learetz. Therefore you may use this sprout machine. This is provided that there are no grape seeds.
