Does a table holding Shabbos candelabra need to be covered with a tablecloth?

The candles, at least two of them, should be on the table in the eating room. The custom is to cover that table with a white tablecloth.

Many recommend to cover all tables, especially if it’s in the same room we are eating, when possible.
