Can I schedule a bulk items garbage disposal to be picked up on Shabbos? If not, can it be scheduled for Chol Hamoed?

 

One may not schedule work to be done for them on Shabbos.

However, one may schedule certain activities for Chol Hamoed. Picking up garbage is an activity which is Tzorech Hamoed and therefore permitted.
