How should a Sefer with an upside down cover be placed on the shelf?

Question:

I purchased a sefer on a discount because the cover was printed upside down, in order to learn from it you have to move the sefer and read it as if its upside down.

On the bookshelf do we place this sefer with the cover looking upside down, or with the cover looking right side up but with the content of the sefer upside down?

Answer:

You should place the sefer on the bookshelf the proper way, even though it looks to everyone else that it is upside down. Nonetheless, it’s recommended – if possible – to put some indication on the binding so it shouldn’t appear to people that it’s lying upside down.
