Holiday Decorations In a Jewish Business

 

Question:

I have an office out of state that employs only non Jews. The manager there purchased decorations for the office and charged them to the company.

It consists of a tree and wreaths, but there is no mention of the actual holiday, just “Happy Holidays.”

Is this a problem?

 

Answer:

It’s not a problem.

Nonetheless, if it’s well known in the community there that it belongs to a Jew, it is mechu’ar hadavar to leave it hanging.
