A rental option has come up and the stovetop is glass. Can it be kashered? We don’t have an option to change it because we are tenants.

 

It cannot be kashered.

Suggestions:

1. You can take a metal hanger and place it on the burners, ensuring that the pot does not come in contact with the stove top. Find out if this won’t ruin the actual glass.
2. You can buy portable burners.
