How long can someone’s hair be until it’s considered a Chatzitzah for Tefillin?
- If the hair obstructs the tefillin from sitting comfortably on the head,
- If there is hair from the sides of the head combed over the spot where the tefillin would be.
- If one didn’t take a haircut for three months.
Hair combed backward is not a problem for the Bayis, but It is still a problem for the knot in the back.
