Ordering a delivery for Shabbos from another time zone

 

Question:

My extended family had a get together on Shabbos afternoon. A cousin in Eretz Yisroel made a Door Dash order (after Shabbos ended there) from 7-Eleven to be delivered to my house for Shabbos treats. Am I allowed to accept the delivery and eat/drink it? Note. This was a surprise; I did not ask for the order to be made.

 

Answer:

May not be used till after Shabbos. You would have to wait the same amount of time it would take to get such a delivery after Shabbos.
