What is the Bracha on puffed corn?

 

This depends on the process used. The process would determine what is the correct Bracha.

If the process is that it remains as corn and it is steamed, the Bracha is Hoadamah, e.g popcorn where the corn is popped, or some types of cornflakes that the corn is pressed and steamed.

However if the corn is ground into flour and then steamed then the Bracha is Shehakol.

The snack called “corn pops” is generally Shehakol; the cereal with the same name is generally Hoadamah.
