Is there a problem with saying Yud-Vov?

Is there a reason for the minhag of saying Tes-Zayin, or is it just something that happened?

 

Answer:

The minhag became to say Tes-Zayin. There is no clear apparent reason for this. See suggestions in the sources below.

However, there is nothing wrong with saying Yud-Vov – especially in older seforim that were written before Tes-Zayin became the norm.
