Is it advisable to tell young Bochorim to skip adult topics/Sugyas?

 

Question:

I have a 13 year old son who is learning a blat of Maseches Sotah each day with another 13 year old chavrusa.

Is it spoken about in halacha/by poskim as to whether it is advisable to tell young bochorim to skip adult topics/sugyas?

Or is it better to let them learn everything?

 

Answer:

Usually we don’t set aside learning this particular masechta with younger kids, but it wouldn’t be wise to advise them not to continue.
