If a bee enters ones home on Shabbos and people are scared to stay in the house, Is there any way permissible to trap or kill the bee?
Often it’s possible to cause a bee to fly out through an open door or window without capturing or hurting it.
As the bee is not dangerous, it is not allowed to kill it. However, one can catch it if the bee is biting him, or even if it’s on his clothes and about to bite him (if it is difficult to remove by shaking the cloth).
If one is allergic to bees, one may trap it.
The same will apply if a young baby is present and a bee bite could cause a severe reaction.
