Can I keep the Chometz in my freezer if I seal it in garbage bags over Pesach and its kept in a separate section than the Pesach food?

 

If you are using the freezer on Pesach then you should not store Chometz, even if it’s labeled. Give them to someone else to hold for you but don’t forget to include this address in your mechira.

However, many items aren’t really Chometz, they are just not officially kosher for Pesach. They may be kept there as long as they are marked and sealed off somehow.

Also, it should be noted that there are a lot of foodstuffs that remain fresh and keep very well outside of the freezer, certainly if it’s only for one week.
